Hello Everyone, it's been a VERY LONG TIME since I last visited... Life happens that way sometimes.

I just finished doing 2 things that are just making me all emotional with thought and excitement:

1. I just listened to 1 of 2 of Jeff Buckley's managers interviewed on the World Cafe show on WXPN about Jeff and his new book - it's an INCREDIBLE interview. Short but so worth listening to!

I keep getting a "You can't post that URL" msg, so if you want to find the radio interview, just google "Dave Lory Jeff Buckley World Cafe" and you'll find it.

The 2nd thing I did that I'm thrilled about is: I bought tix to hear Dave Lory talk about the book AND do a Question & Answer!!

Is he coming to your town? Check out the interview above and these dates, if you can go you should go!

TVD Radar: Jeff Buckley manager Dave Lory’s book in stores 5/29, summer/fall tour dates
BY TVD HQ | MARCH 27, 2018

VIA PRESS RELEASE | For the first time since Jeff Buckley’s tragic death on May 29, 1997, his manager Dave Lory finally talks about what it was like working with one of the most revered and critically celebrated artists in rock and roll history with the release of his book, Jeff Buckley From Hallelujah To The Last Goodbye (Post Hill Press/Simon and Schuster; May 29, 2018; written with Jim Irvin).

This summer and fall, Lory will travel to cities across North America and Europe with his open forum offering a behind the scenes look at the book and inside the manager/artist relationship titled: A Q&A With Dave Lory, Jeff Buckley’s Manager and Author, Jeff Buckley From Hallelujah To The Last Goodbye. Lory’s talk will cover the journey of Buckley’s rise to success from the release of his EP “Live at Sin-e,” his debut album Grace, and the subsequent three years including that tragic week when Jeff Buckley disappeared into the murky waters of the Mississippi river and Lory got the call… “Jeff is missing.”

The show will consist of three thirty minute segments that will include questions from the audience at the end of each and Lory will be on hand to sign copies of the book at each venue. “I am so excited to meet with Jeff Buckley’s fans worldwide and interact with them about what it was like working with this iconic artist,” Lory exclaims.

Thanks for that, that was a nice lesson. I'm going to have to pick up a copy of this book, I hadn't even heard about it.

If I'm in Dublin in September, maybe I can get to the Olympia for this.

Glad you checked it out! I hope you get to the Dublin date, it will no doubt be special since Jeff has a special history in Dublin and there are so many deep serious Jeff fans there.

I envy you if you get to go!

If I do get to go (looking more likely that I will be in Dublin then!) I'll post some pictures and updates here, and if there's any questions beforehand that people want me to ask I'll try and do so!

I hope people post some questions! I found Dave Lory incredibly open to answering questions, even really intense ones.

Can't wait to hear how it goes in Dublin through you!
